I actually enjoyed most of the film The Traitor (2019). It is usually not perfect. the greatest gripe is that I can tell that the particular original screenplay was re-written. Now, as a kid could I tell this specific? NO, and that is the primary audience. I think adults forget if they watch a movie mostly targeted to children that this will not totally charm to them. Now, a few exceptions to my entertainment of children's films is usually the new terrible 2018 Grinch, which was too bad I could tell actually the children were not necessarily entertained and I actually walked out of theater, this coming from an adult whom enjoys children's motion pictures.
